New moon, New year, Papadosios two night new years eve event at the Bluestone, in Columbus Ohio. I wanted to bring strength and vision in as a resolution. Ambition and a watchful eye, with a plan well executed. I arrived early and quickly got started on the background and blocking colors, and was well on a roll that first night working in Acrylics, The second night, the acrylic under painting was dried and ready, I went to town with my oil paints, It took one last sessions to wrap up the details. If you know me, and how it make take years for me to finish my work, this may surprise you in my swiftness in completion, but isn’t that, as artists, one of our missions? To refine and improve our processees to allow that creative energy to flow faster and more freely as we are the conduit of inspiration.
