Abram Gunther crafts “Electro-Soul”—a rhythmic collision of live improvisational Jazz and deep-pulse electronic production. Drawing from two decades as a visual artist and musician in Grand Rapids, he uses the studio as a canvas, layering warm, analog soul vocals over syncopated, high-fidelity digital landscapes.
Moving beyond traditional genre boundaries, Sudan’s latest work is a journey through recovery and resonance. It’s the sound of the Heartside district waking up—part machine, part heartbeat, all soul.

Interview: Ryne Shyne Music Sessions
BACKGROUND
Abrams Gunthers influences range from American Folk, Rock and Punk Rock to Soul, Funk, and Blues, house, techno, and bass music
He is known for his ability to interweave tasteful blends of improvisational instrumentals alongside melodic progressions, paired with raw, energetic and powerful vocals.
Original music with unique covers make for each show to be a different experience, continually pushing the envelope of genre-bending experimentation combined with the commanding, attention grabbing, and sometimes just plain wacky, performance of a band doing what they love most.
