Cosmic Depths- 2023 Artprize Entry
The unknown is always a mystery until we pull back the veil. This series came to life after accidentally receiving an order of black gesso, opening a portal into new techniques and process experimentation, along with new materials and motivations. By exploring the realms of space and marine-scapes, creating an environment with dream-like ambiguity, we can challenge and strengthen our perceptions of Reality, Spirituality, and Humanity by acknowledging the wonder of the far reaches of our existence.

The Starseed Angel

The unique substance of individuality comes permeating from across dimensions, transcending the mundane to encapsulate our being, allowing us to transcend into that soul of uniqueness. Through our own channels of creativity we can access the Thesos of the collective, learning, inspiring, understanding, and teaching, from past and present as we grow with enthusiasm to be Conscious and Aware as we move towards the future. To invoke that which lies within us all, to stoke the fire within and radiate, to inspire other to do likewise, for we in this moment have only ourselves and the tide that will carry us to change, for it is not just a constant, but a power that can be harvested and shared.

Convergence of Spectrums Where Life Begins
My belief is that there are Two spectrums that create the foundation of our creation, the prism spectrum, where light and color exist, and the Vibrational spectrum where sound and tone are found, when those two cross paths life is formulated

Life is Vineager
True India ink on raw silk, is one of my favorite, but rarely used techniques. Steeped in history this art-form carries messages for those that know the path, for we are all on a journey and you don’t always have to stick to one path
RED
This Series Started out as an excersize but was peivital into the understading of our Universal Language. In this sequence of paintings (3 of 7 shown here) I examined how Each color would represent its self in motion and structure.
Yellow
As the Red has an encompassing feel, motherly, utaran and bold, here we find our subject matter: encompassing the spectrum of generality, a figure, present throught. Yellow is a dream, vast and inspiring. the frame works and vision. The distant call of destiny
Blue
The ever industrious Blue receding into the back ground but holding the frame work and building the structure of our depths and the color of or insides. The Primaries. themselves a spectrum of their own, yet the building blocks for full spectrum of understanding.

It Starts with an Idea, a possession of thought, and as you stretch that idea out into existence the world resonates around you to help you bring it into light. Manifesting your dreams begins with making the Motions and moving it forward. The rest will follow.
Self Portrait of Creative Energy
This is an exercise in abstract thinking, one I often encourage my colleagues to try. It may not even manifest into an actual subject matter, but knowing how the Creative energy channels through you, is knowing yourself as the utensil of art its self.
In Still Chaos
Art Prize Entry! This piece which patience built, was intended from the beginning to be entered in to the world renound jurried exibition, Art Prize, in Grand Rapids Michigan. Within our own stillness we roar with anxiety doubt courage and hope, releasing and receiving, the smallest thought racing to become the biggest action.

Honestly cant remember what all this was about, but in a time where I painted on both sides of my canvas and let my creativeness ooze all over the place anything was possible.

Seen through to the depths of our soul, honesty is the window to true understanding. to be seen is to be witnested

On the back side of Drips, or would this be the front side, seen through to the beyond.
Crown
The highest chakra sits at the crown of the head and represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually. When you fully open your crown chakra—something very few people ever do!—you’re able to access a higher consciousness.
Third Eye
Controlling our ability to see the big picture and connect to intuition. It registers information beyond the surface level. Visions and intuitive hits are not uncommon for someone with an open third-eye chakra.
Throat
Giving voice to the heart chakra and controls our ability to communicate our personal power. When it’s functioning at full capacity, it allows us to express ourselves truly and clearly. Someone with a blocked throat chakra will feel like they have trouble finding the words to say how they truly feel.
Heart
The bridge between the lower chakras, it can influence our ability to give and receive love. Someone with a blocked heart chakra will have difficulty fully opening up to the people in their life. If someone’s heart is open, they can experience deep compassion and empathy.
Solar Plexus
Speaking to your ability to be confident and in control of your life. If your solar plexus chakra is blocked, you might feel overwhelming amounts of shame and self-doubt. Those with open sacral chakras are free to express their true selves.
Sacral
helping inform how we relate to our emotions and the emotions of others. It also governs creativity and sexual energy. Those with a blocked sacral chakra could feel a lack of control in their lives.
Root
Representing our foundation. On the human body, it sits at the base of the spine and gives us the feeling of being grounded. When the root chakra is open, we feel confident in our ability to withstand challenges and stand on our own two feet. When it’s blocked, we feel threatened, as if we’re standing on unstable ground.

I woke up one day to a blizzard raging outside, I had a Canvas primed and ready, so when my friend Amy sugested I paint a Peacock, i spend the next four hours staring out into the white while painting.

We are all connected by the energetic Tingly Fingers of the great octopus of the cosmos, embracing and flowing through every-one and every-moment.
Knowledge
One can sit and think all day and not get anything done, one can toil with their hands all day and not get anywhere, it isn’t until we put our mind to our actions that tangible manifestations become reality.
Kenetix
When we use our Creative Energy we tap into that realm of the Ethos and bring through the essence of inspiration, enthusiasm and interpretation. How we Translate that through the many forms of Universal Language is up to us to explore and communicate as the vessels of expression.
Green Man
The Green man is a symbol of rebirth, the masculine in the feminine, the cycle of the seasons. He is a hidden acknowledgment of the old ways, a watcher, a secret keeper. A restful reminder of peace and breath.
