I have a great relationship with color, and my understanding of it as a universal language is a path that I am currently chasing. Just as scales and progressions in music create harmonies and dissonance, so too does the variations in Color, both are spectrums of Vibration. Those Vibrations are closer to the Universal Language than the minimal words that we speak, and in understanding Those vibrational patterns we may exponentially express our real truths, rather than fumble with words that do not, or can not, explain the inner meaning of our expression.

My Pallet is refined, although when I paint with Acrylics I tend to use the colors at hand, which can get fun and exciting as I get colors I don’t typically use, But when I’m allowed to have the patience to sit with my oils, I use Quinacridone Magenta, Cadmium Yellow, Thalo Blue(sometimes cobalt), Sea Foam, and white. Just as musicians favor certain Scales, Artists too favor harmonies of color for they are our Vocabulary and Grammatics of the subconscious translations of the Universal language.
